Wow. The response to our preliminary Best of the Best polls was pretty amazing. As it is, we’ve already cut down to just over half the field. Currently there are 90 women in the running to be on the top of the pile for Best Woman in Comics. Round One sees the lower seeded entrants battle it out to try and make it to round two, and let me tell you some of the match-ups are just insane! I’m not even sure how I’m going to pick a couple.

I can’t believe it! With the exception of Sue Storm, results showed every one of my picks were for the underdog. Or, since the candidates are women, under-cat?
I was impressed how many of the under(insert animal here)s are doing well!
