First Look: Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.

I’ve been anticipating the Joss Whedon produced Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. ever since it was just called S.H.I.E.L.D., and it seems that ABC has anticipated the fan reaction to it all, because they followed up their predicted pick up of the series on Friday by quickly launching a promotional site, and then releasing the first ever teaser for the show two days later.

I personally find it difficult to believe they weren’t planning on picking it up anyway, and hadn’t already planned to promo the hell out of it from the time they finished shooting the pilot episode months ago. Either way, it’s worked for me because I’m super excited and don’t know how I’m going to make it until fall.

Thoughts? Reactions?  Do we think that J. August Richards is Luke Cage, like some have speculated?

UPDATE: ABC has released the FULL trailer for Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., which somehow looks even more amazing. The show will be airing Tuesdays, this fall on ABC.
